Leia Zhu – Bows, Strings and Dreams

Aged a mere 16 but already 12 years into her career as a violin virtuoso, Leia Zhu commands the stage as Artist-in-Residence with the London Mozart Players, as the youngest musician to be included as Classic FM’s 30 brilliant young musicians under the age of 30, and as a BBC Music Magazine Rising Star. A true rising force in classical music. 

With her violin in tow to tease us with some enchanting examples of her playing, Leia brings down the curtain on this year’s Literary Festival talking about the astonishing journey of ‘the violin girl’ striving to realise her dreams.
