September 2024: The Festival is actively looking for a part-time bookkeeper to undertake the accounting activities of the Festival on a timely and accurate basis to trial balance level, being in principle accounts receivable processing and collection, accounts payable processing and payment, bank and balance sheet reconciliations and all routine bookkeeping. The software package is Sage Business Accounting.

As a charity our income comes as much from generous local support and local business sponsorship as from ticket income. We are now seeking a new trustee with experience and capability of generating financial support.

What does joining the board involve?
On a day-to-day basis, the festival is run by a professional team, consisting of Artistic Director, Festival Manager, Marketing and Development Manager, Finance Manager & Bookkeeper and Festival Administrator. It is Governed by a small board of trustees who meet for Board meetings six times a year and take on other roles and responsibilities depending on their experience and time availability. The new trustee will be a vital part of a development group, working closely with our Marketing and Development Manager as well as other Trustees.
