Twin pillars of the British jazz establishment, Claire Martin and Ian Shaw met over 25 years ago, forging a musical partnership that has run alongside their stellar individual careers. Together they’ve performed across the globe – from New York to Vietnam – not to mention several hundred UK dates in that time.

For Petworth they jointly celebrate one hundred years of popular song; from the songs of hope written during the First World War through to hits from the American Songbook, the Beatles, Bowie and Joni Mitchell. With just Ian’s artful piano accompaniments this is a collaboration to die for…
