Emma Johnson presents Playful Classical

An annual festival highlight, our visit to the Sofas and Stuff showroom showcases one of our leading instrumental stars and Petworth favourite, clarinettist Emma Johnson, in an unusual light. 

A spontaneous chuckle from an audience during a concert got Emma thinking about the many comic moments in music – how do composers make us laugh? With the aid of video clips, audio and the odd toot from the clarinet, Emma explores humour in music.
