St Mary’s Church
Venue Information
St. Mary’s Church dates from thirteenth century, although restorations in 1827 and 1903 have hidden much of the original structure. The acoustics are exceptionally good for musical performances, and as such the church plays host to a number of Petworth Festival events.
- Capacity: 370 reserved seating. Cushions are available for hire on the night
- Parking: There is free parking in Petworth town centre car park, a short, flat walk from the venue. Disabled parking is available adjacent to the church on a first come first parked basis
- Disabled access, although there is no lift to the Gallery
- Mens & Ladies toilets
- Licensed bar selling wine and soft drinks pre-performance and in the interval (pre-ordering advised).
