In conversation with former British Vogue colleague Carol Woolton, the magazine’s editor of 25 years Alexandra Shulman walks us through her recently published collection of essays that take us on a quest for the perfect eyeliner, the secret as to why picnics are so delightful, how it is that men and women see different things in the home, why our hair matters so much to us, and so much more. The book combines anecdotes and observations from her 25 years as Editor and her current life as a freelance writer and commentator, drawing on her experiences as magazine editor as well as a mother, daughter, sibling, girlfriend, housekeeper - and lover of shopping.
