SING OUT! 2025

Working with local primary schools, children wrote text and music inspired by paintings at Petworth House to create their own original songs.

The project brought together a large group of pupils (Years 4–6), professional artists and sixth-form music technology students to create five new songs inspired by the stories, characters and atmosphere through creative writing, songwriting and music technology.

We are pleased to share the songs and supporting materials to encourage teachers and schools to explore the project in their own way - whether as a short creative unit, a cross-curricular project, or a starting point for pupils’ own songwriting and storytelling. Please visit the links below.

SING OUT! 2026

We are building on the success of 2025 by significantly expanding the programme to reach many more local schools and young people across West Sussex and Surrey, with a particular focus on primary pupils and those from disadvantaged communities.

Teacher development will also be central to achieving long-lasting impact, equipping educators with practical tools for integrating creative arts into the curriculum.

The 2026 programme will further broaden pupils’ awareness through visits to inspiring local heritage and cultural sites, linking creativity to place and strengthening connections with the local community.

The Big Give - Arts for impact CAMPAIGN 2026

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the recent Big Give campaign. Thanks to your generosity and match funding from Arts for Impact, we raised £20,737. The funding will support our ongoing Educational Outreach work to bring music, creative writing and performance opportunities to local primary school children from communities with limited access to the arts.
