A chance to sample the joys of travel writing as we take in the outdoor beauty of autumnal Petworth Park. In his most recent compendium, the former BBC Senior Producer and now travel writer and anthologist reads from his latest volume The Indigo Hours: Writers Walk the Night, a book that celebrates the unique experience of walking at night, journeys made on urban streets, as well as in the wilds of nature at twilight, through moonlight and towards dawn. Contributors include Virginia Woolf, Franz Kafka, Charles Dickens, Victor Hugo, Edith Wharton, George Orwell, Mark Twain….
Join us for an hour as we head towards the autumnal twilight. Meeting Point - Petworth House Church Lodge.
LitFestPlus is the brand-new series of events where we go beyond our core series of author talks and invite you to participate in special sessions - walking, discussing, and investigating different aspects of the written and spoken word.
