Petworth Festival’s most atmospheric venue welcomes two great bands for a night of jazz, jive and boogie. Proceedings kick off in the company of Dom Pipkin and the Boogie Boys, Dom without doubt being one of the finest honky-tonk, boogie and rock and roll musicians on the circuit – or in the words of Blues in Britain, “one of the world’s greatest exponents of New Orleans piano”. If Dom’s set can be topped, it will be by the absolute masters of swing and jive, The Jive Aces, one of the most popular bands to have hit the Stables in previous years. When these cats burst onto the stage in their signature yellow suits, you’ll be tapping your feet and grinning like a fool before you know it.
‘Brilliant musicianship combined with a madcap sense of fun on stage.’ The Stage
